The times in politics are turbulent and unpredictable, but thanks to b.grn the UK may level up and have a job creation investment opportunity in areas with tax and planning incentives.
Vision
The project will help create jobs within Freeport Zones, contribute to reducing environmental damage by recycling plastics and utilise technology funded by Korea (Global Britain Investment). This means that b.grn builds post-Brexit trade with Korea and creates onward UK manufacturing and export opportunities.
Sustainability
Talking about the unpredictability, the UK Government has stated that it intends to phase out the importation of Russian oil by the end of 2022. With this project, b.grn can help by replacing at least 10% of Russian diesel supplies. It does so with a sustainable diesel fuel derived from the degradation of plastic waste using innovative, proven technology.
The plan
To start with the investment, multiple sites within UK Freeport Zones are being considered for equipment manufacturing and diesel production. Subject to regulatory consent, these sites will accommodate the capacity to process up to 400,000 tons of waste per year and produce 400m litres of diesel per year.
